Executive Coaching Services for Leaders
Lead Through Pressure. Think More Clearly.
When responsibility increases, clarity matters.
When the Stakes Rise, Your Thinking Has to Get Sharper
Senior roles come with competing priorities, fast-moving change, and decisions that ripple across people and results. Even strong leaders can feel stretched when the scope expands, and expectations do not let up.
This is where our work begins. I help you sort what matters from what is noise, strengthen your thinking in complex situations, and communicate with greater clarity when the stakes are high.

The Difference Coaching Strategies for Leaders Can Make
“I believe that gravitas at work and in life is achieved through years of seasoned experiences and professional feedback and Brenda proved to be a great resource for me in that regard.”
I engaged Brenda as an Executive Coach for several years to help me learn how to navigate the numerous subordinate, process, organizational structure and personal challenges that confronted me in my role as CFO of a fast-growing start-up company with a private equity sponsor, challenging business model in a somewhat volatile industry sector. Like with most start-ups, I felt like I was typically trying to stay above water with all of the “irons in the fire” and Brenda was a great resource to bounce questions and ideas off of. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a coach to provide a different insight into how to tackle life’s challenges. I believe her guidance also helped make me a more empathetic and effective people leader.
— Mike I Chief Financial Officer
“As a result of my sessions, I have more confidence as a Team Leader.”
My coaching sessions with Brenda occurred at a pivotal time for our Team. Brenda first asked questions to understand- and help me understand- the difficulties. She guided me through possible solutions but ultimately asked me to devise my own plan. We were able to recap the progress of the action plan. I appreciate the nonjudgmental, open environment Brenda facilitated.
— Margaret Knack, RN, BSN, MS, CCRP I Senior Research Manager, Campbell Clinic Foundation
“Brenda doesn’t just develop leaders. She models what great leadership looks like in all of her interactions.”
Her clients don’t only learn new ways to navigate complexity. They are also inspired to bring out the best in the people around them. I’ve had the privilege of partnering with Brenda in several different contexts. We’ve led an organization together. She’s been my teacher and mentor. We’ve been learners alongside each other. In every situation, she brought exactly what great partnerships require: trust, competence, and genuine care. I lead better because of her.
— Karen L. Nash, MSOD, PCC, NLPC
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Brenda Baird, MCC, CMC as my physician executive leadership coach since January 2022 through UTK PEMBA.”
Brenda has helped me enhance my leadership skills by analyzing specific challenging circumstances, identifying internal and external barriers, reflect on potential solutions and use my leadership strengths and opportunities to address personal and professional situations. Brenda has positively influenced my growth as a leader and I continue to work with her beyond UTK PEMBA. She is an experienced coach, great active listener, direct and honest. I am honored to have her as my coach and highly recommend working with her.
— J. Gabriel Andrade, MD, MBA, CPE, SFHM

FAQs
Are executive coaching services confidential?
Yes. Confidentiality is a core part of the coaching relationship. In organization-sponsored coaching, goals and progress may be aligned with stakeholders, but the content of coaching conversations remains confidential unless there is clear agreement to share something specific.
How often do executives meet with Brenda Baird?
My recommended coaching cadence is every two weeks. Weekly sessions may be useful when issues feel more urgent, and I generally do not recommend going longer than three weeks between sessions. After the formal engagement ends, some leaders continue with monthly sessions to support ongoing development and sustainability.
What are some coaching skills for leaders that you specialize in?
I specialize in coaching that supports high-achieving leaders in strengthening self-awareness, strategic thinking, emotional intelligence, and communication across multiple stakeholder groups. It provides a confidential, tailored space to think more clearly, navigate complexity, and lead with greater effectiveness and intention.
What kinds of leaders do you work with?
I typically work with directors and senior directors stepping into broader scope, vice presidents and senior vice presidents, C-suite leaders and enterprise executives, and high-potential leaders preparing for expanded responsibility. These are often leaders navigating growth, transition, and the increasing complexity that comes with larger roles.
